Before you write
- A conversion looks wrong. Reprocess as Raw OCR to check what was actually read, then try Document, Table or Notes mode. You can also edit the Markdown by hand.
- Tables are poor on a photograph. Install Table AI from Settings. It is slow on large pages but far more accurate.
- The camera button says the scanner is unavailable. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera for Markdown SnapCapture.
- Conversion is taking minutes. That is Table AI on a big table. You can cancel; the built-in result is kept.
- The app is using a lot of storage. Settings itemises it. Delete the model (~715 MB) or delete captures you no longer need.
Reporting a bad conversion
If you are comfortable sharing it, attach the original photo or PDF and the Markdown the app produced (share both from the Share or save sheet). We never see anything you do not send us.
