Licence
Markdown SnapCapture is provided free of charge by Jerome Coloma ("we"). Your use of the app is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to these terms. Where the two differ, Apple's agreement prevails for matters it covers.
Your content
Everything you capture is yours. The app processes it on your device and never transmits it. You are responsible for having the right to scan and convert the material you capture, and for how you use the Markdown it produces.
Accuracy
Optical character recognition and on-device language models make mistakes. The app labels which converter ran, offers a Raw OCR mode that shows exactly what was recognised, and lets you edit the result, but you should check any output before relying on it. We make no guarantee that any conversion is complete or correct.
Optional model download
Table AI uses model weights published by a third party (mlx-community on Hugging Face) under their own licence. The download is optional, its size is stated before it starts, and you can delete it at any time. We do not control the availability of that download.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to infringe others' rights, to circumvent security measures, or in any way that breaks the law where you are.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the same extent, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on its output. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it, which removes all its data from your device.
